Farming Agrícola collaborates in the Agrochallenge 2026, the great national meeting of agricultural vocational training in Palencia.

On April 28 and 29, Palencia hosted the Agrochallenge 2026 event, the national agricultural vocational training championship that brings together young people from the agricultural sector from all over Spain.

The event is held at the Viñalta Agricultural Training School and involves the participation of 13 teams and more than 50 students from six autonomous communities, who will compete in a total of 20 practical tests based on real situations in the agricultural, livestock and environmental fields.

Practical training and the future of the industry

The Agrochallenge is consolidated as one of the most important events for agricultural vocational training in Spain, with the aim of promoting practical learning, improving the employability of students and enhancing the value of generational change in the field.

During the competition, participants will have to demonstrate their skills in different disciplines of the sector, from machinery operation to environmental management or agricultural production, in an environment that simulates real working conditions in the field.

In addition, the winning team will have the opportunity to represent Spain in the European championship to be held in the United Kingdom next June.

Farming Agrícola, committed to agricultural training

From Farming Agrícola we wanted to support this initiative that promotes young talent and the future of the sector, actively collaborating with the transfer of machinery.

In particular, we have lent an Amazone ZA-M 1202 spreader, used in the implement hitching test, helping the students to work with real technology and become familiar with the equipment they will encounter in their professional future.

Promoting young talent in the field

This type of initiative reinforces the importance of vocational training as a key way to guarantee the future of the agricultural and livestock sector, with a commitment to training that is increasingly technical, practical and adapted to the real needs of the labor market.

The Agrochallenge 2026 is not only a competition, but also a platform to showcase the potential of the countryside and attract new generations to a strategic sector for the economy and sustainability.

Results and recognition of effort

Finally, the first place in the Agrochallenge 2026 went to the CIFP Viñalta team from Palencia, which demonstrated a high technical level and excellent preparation in all the tests. Second place went to the team from the Centro de Referencia Nacional de Ganadería de Lorca (Murcia), while third place also went to another team from CIFP Viñalta, confirming the great role of the host center in this edition of the championship.

Our most sincere congratulations to the winning teams for the results obtained and the great work done throughout the competition, as well as to the rest of the participants for the effort and the level demonstrated in this edition.
